Peter Weir !! An electrifying meeting, that provokes the feelings that I had never experienced before overflows like a waterfall, encountering such intense emotions, as if swimming against the current of those emotions, I only had three times in my life. The first time was when I saw Peter Weir's "Dead Poets Society". The third time was last weekend when I met the director himself. The first time I watched it,I was immobilised for a while by the weight of the emotions bubbling up like magma and the tears flowing like a flood. Until then, I had only shed tears of sadness and pain, but for the first time, I experienced shedding tears of awe at the beauty of living and love. I physically learned the emotions like passions, dreams, beauty, and love that I had only known as knowledge in my head. Unsure of how to handle myself in this trance-like state, I decided to write down everything in my heart. It ended up an eleven pages and turned into an admiration fan letter to the director, which I sent to his agent. However, I’ve never heard from him (LOL), I had always desired to thank the director in person. This movie helped me discover who I am. I had thought of myself as lacking any outstanding personality or intelligence, just a tiny existence that would be erased among the majority. I didn't know I had such burning passion inside me to appreciate art=movie. I never thought I was someone with the energy to ignore the word "impossible," to fight for what is said to be difficult, and to try what I love for . This movie casted a magic upon me? No, this is not magic as it still circulates within me as blood without ever fading away. This movie lead me to the film industry. I wanna share what I have learned : hope, positivity, possibility, the beauty of life, and make a difference to the world. To move someone’s life through films. You taught me everything essentials for life and the meaning to live. Peter, you are my Mr. Keating. I want to say it loudly one more time with all my heart.
