On the last day of December 2024, I promised myself I would not spend another year like that, bringing myself to exhaustion, neglecting my needs. If I am choosing health and wellness as a career, I need to make sure it reflects my lifestyle first. Some of the truths that made the shift were: - overworking yourself won’t bring more results. The body and mind need rest to find clarity, inspiration and motivation. - everyone will have an opinion on the way you lead your business, you might get overwhelmed by all the suggestions and comments and your fear of not being enough might get you stuck in that circle. Solution? Pause and go back to your WHY, why did you start this business? What are the core values? That will lead your way. - take care of yourself. Go to the gym. Take that day off. Go visit your parents. I can’t stress enough how important is to disconnect in order to reconnect. Your life purpose goal is not supposed to make you miserable. - stop comparing. Comparison kills everything. What in the world makes us think that someone else’s success will lead to our failure? Everyone and everything have their own divine timing. Get inspired and alway cheer for their success. We raise by lifting others. - make mistakes, and have fun! There’s literally no other way to learn what works unless you test things, seems trivial but it’s quite the truth. We are terrified by failure and mistakes, but our success really does depend on them. - trust life! Whenever you feel completely lost, give life a chance. Many times things come when we let go, when we make space for them. Embrace every step of the way with trust and connection. Let life surprise you. - you can do anything, but not everything. (Favorite) Ever felt like one life is not enough to embody all your passions? I feel you, but energy flows where attention goes. Focus. - do not be too attached. If something is not working out, accept that you might need to move on. Maybe it’s part of a bigger plan you haven’t even realized yet. Trust that what’s meant for you won’t skip you. Learn from everything but don’t identify with anything. You are your own person and you exist regardless of what you do.
